Rename Active Configuration Macro Request

Has anyone created a macro to rename the active configurations and display the document name in the BOM? Prior practice was to name them the same as the part number however as these parts are used for new parts people tend to overlook the renaming part. Thanks

(Just a reminder, if the current configuration is in use within another open document, you'll not be able to rename it even with a macro.)

SW09-SP2 and later allows renaming of active configs.

FCS i understand about the open document issue. Unfortunatly we are still running 07. Thanks CBL for the link info.

I prefer a macro because it allows the less experienced people a simple solution to an ongoing issue, also i prevents 20 different ways to spell "default"
