I have searched and cannot find an option for removing the reflection off the floor when using RealView graphics. PhotoView does not give me the results that I want, but RealView does except for the reflection.

I have tried distancing my assembly well above the floor, but that did not work. I made a white floor board and adjusted its illumination so that it a) appeared white, and b) had no reflection. This actually worked, except I need a very strong perspective view (factor ~ .25). With this perspective view the floor took on a shading gradation of its own.

I think the best results would be to turn off the floor reflection in RealView. Does anyone know the trick for that? I could not find it in SWX Help.

Many thanks in advance!

On the Render Tools toolbar, select the 'Edit Scene' button and uncheck Floor Reflections. Yes, this works on the realview scene.

If you want that setting permanently disabled, remember to save the document template.

Jeff,

That was perfect! Thanks and a star for you!
