Remove Abietic acid residus in the xylene ??

Hi everyone,

It will be appreciate if Somme one can explain to me how we can remove, destroy, precipitate the residue of Abietic acid (C20H30O2) about 1% in the XYLENE, This acid (abietic) come from gum rosin. We don't want to distill the xylene,
