Has anybody experienced this problem? We recently changed our titleblocks and updated the sheet formats for our different templates, when an old style drawing is opened and you reload the template with the new sheet format the Rev Table always defaults to Letters. Our new format has the Rev Table using numbers and when you create a new drawing from the template it will use Numbers in the Rev Table like it is supposed to, it is only when you reload the format from old to new it comes across as letters. I have verified this on multiple computers and different SP's.

3.0 Ghz
1 GB Ram
SW 2005 SP 1.1
Quadro4 980 XGL

I am running 1.1 because of system instability on 3.0 have not tried 3.1 yet.

The Revision Column in the Revision Table always letters by default...I wonder how you have your Table making numbers at all.

Tools->Options->Document Properties->Tables.

There is an option there to change Alpha/Numberical control on revision tables. We are having a similar problem here, we have the dwg template saved with the numerical option, yet letters keep coming in.

The Revision Table has always been able to use either Alpha or Numeric notations.

See settings under Tools > Options > Document properties > Tables

Heckdogg,

That is what I have them do when they replace the old Titleblock with the new one, I have them switch from letters to numbers. It just bothers me that it works correctly when you create a new drawing it is setup to use numbers.
