What is reliability Centered maintenance and how is it different from PM, Pdm and Failure Analysis that we already do at our job?

Please explain the difference.

Let's say it is a systematic approach, establishing framework which integrates CBM, failure anaylisis, life-cycle costing design-in maintenance and criticality analysis.


Optimized scheduled maintenance should be output of successful RCM program.

Uf... it is really simpified, but hope it gives the idea ,John Moubray's and others' books give application guidelines...
