I am trying to figure out if I should calculate the MTBF of my new product using 217 or SR-332. I have read all the high level information on the differences between the two and I have experience performing the calculation using the MIL217 method. Can anyone tell me some more detailed differences (ie. calculation criteria, formulas) so I can get a better idea of how the two methods stack up compared to each other?
