Release File Locks ( handles )

Hello,

I am trying to modify the model while being opened by SolidEdge.
Is there a way to release all the locks ( handles ) in order to modify the file using Solidedge API ?

I need to checkin a file while being opened by solidedge.
Currently my only option is the close the file prior the checkin operation.
