as soon as the 'British/English' (or the national) version is ready
you will be able to generate a new license for ST2, but not
before this date ...

we just downloaded the new ST2 and installed it. when i go to the sheet metal model it tells me that only approved beta testers are allowed acess to this template. is this true or are they going to release the sheet metal ST for ST2? if they are only doing beta testers how do we become beta testers?

you have to contact your reseller in this matter. SheetMetal
will become activated/implemented by an MP later this year.
The beta is open to everyone with a valid maintenance contract

First they announce the "release" of ST2 in May of this year; they finally ship it for real four months later in end of September/early October, and the much-touted sheetmetal module in ST2 is still in beta stage?

What Steve Jobs used to say? "Real artists ship".

Anybody else thinks they seem to be in trouble? :-\
