Are all us manufactured boilers registered with the National Board by the manufacturing company?

Yes, if they are installed in a location where the local Jurisdiction regulates boilers in the US.

I believe that all the States including US protectorates have boards of boilers and pressure vessels that require compliance with ASME/NB. If non US boiler or PV manufacturers want to sell their products in the US, such manufacturers will need to provide equivalency data to these jurisdictions or boards.

I can no longer find the listing on the NBIC website, but there is a small percentage of states that do not require registration with NBIC for boilers. There are about twice as many for pressure vessels. However, there were (are?) cases where city jurisdiction may require it where the states do not.

A: no not all are registered.

If you want insurance on the fired or unfired pressure vessel, the insurance company will require a NB/ASME stamping on that unit.
