Recently I am interested in NACE, lots of petroleum and natural gas pipeline valve need manufactured in terms of it. I am wondering how a company identify its capacity to implement NACE, or it could be provided authorized certificate by this organization similar as API6D monogram.

Thanks!

NACE approves/certifies materials for sour service (as I understand it).

Thus, when you specific NACE materials for valves, piping, etc, the vendor has to provide acceptable materials along with the supporting documentation. NACE also gets into other requirements such as maximum hardness for welds but I have only a very general understanding of it.

You will not get a manufacturing facility certified to NACE. What would be a useful start though, is to have the facility certificated to ISO 9001/ISO 29001. NACE themselves also do NOT certify materials; that is down to the supplier in accordance with ISO 10474 or EN 10204, for example.
