Regarding Gravity load

Hi,

In the following figure, I have used spring elements in between the base plates to connect. When I apply gravity load, the results are not converging. But without spring elements, the gravity analysis is converging. I need to include spring elements in the gravity analysis. Can anyone tell what can be done to overcome the convergence error?

Try applying the gravity load to all regions of the model except for the springs.

Yeah did that. Then also it is not converging

Do you know how to apply forced displacement on ABAQUS?
