Refining mesh size

Does anyone know how to change the resolution of the mesh in Pro/Mech Structure? My results models sometimes have a bunch of lumpy elements instead of nice, pretty small ones.

Use AutoGEM>Settings>AutoGEM>Limits

You can also use surface & volume regions around areas of interest.



Of course with the p-element approach, you'll always have bigger elements than traditional h-element codes. Check your convergence, you might not need to refine the mesh.
