I am doing some research on building a geothermal power plant for a state in my country and I was wondering if anyone has an information on companies, contractors that can help me in the preliminary stages and putting together a proposal/ feasibility report for a geothermal plant.

Any information will be helpful.

Thanks.

California and Iceland are the 'hot' spots. You might be able to contact someone at The Geysers Plant and ask your way to someone who would know.

There is a chap in here who has dealt with them. Hopefully he notices.

You could search the forum and see if his name shows up.

Try this link,
There are a couple of companies in the Southern California deset areas, and many of those companies are also heading to Utah.

Mission Energy
Red Hill Geothermal
Union 76

Are some of the companies working near Salton Sea.

Try this:

Western Geopower is currently working on a new plant at the Geysers Complex in N.California.

Calpine Corp. owns most of the generating plants in the Geysers Complex (>500MW)

The California Energy Commission has complied a report on the economics of operating many different generating technologies, including flash or binary cycle geothermal plants.

Hope this helps

You don't mention which country you are in, however, I would suggest you have a look at New Zealand. Lots of Geothernal over a long time and many experienced engineers who work around the world. Try
