I am looking for any data or references concerning the use of HVOF applied Tungsten Carbide (or similar carbides) for use in high temperature applications (to +500°C).
The specific line media is magnesium chloride (assume dry), the application is a metal seated ball valve, the coating to be applied to the outer surface of the ball and the seat.
