Reference for MAWP ,DP Pressure drop

Hi folks

Is there any reference or text book name advice to show how calculate in practical way MAWP ,DP and pressure drop for process plant equipment , piping etc to check the compatibility of pressure parts components and process ?

All I have is that ASME VIII. API-520, -521, ISO-4126, AD Merkblatt A2 2000 etc., all for Pressure Relief Valves, state that the upstream/inlet piping leading to the PRV, should have non-recoverable pressure loss limited to 3 % maximum.

If he question was related to pressure relief valves, note the separate forum for safety relief valves.

Per ISO-4126, only the term Safety Valve is used regardless of application or design.

Actually I looking for get familiar in pressure parts calculations of process plants ..I get code you mention but I looking if there is available manual or text book contain practical examples to enforce the idea .
