Hello All,

Does anyone have suggestions for reference books that cover the topics of repair / restoration of existing structures.

If possible, I would like to add a few books to our library that cover both antiquated and more modern construction techniques relating to a myriad of construction materials. Open to suggestions which also cover waterproofing/membranes/coatings...that's a bonus in my eye since we sometimes include coatings within our repair documents. My goal is to have some hard copy references in our office to bridge the gap between those of us that rely on google-foo, and those with the hair-covered lock boxes mounted on their necks. Any/all suggestions of "must-haves" when it comes to existing buildings are welcome.

Have a good week.

Structural Renovation of Buildings: Methods, Details, & Design Examples by Newman

Any recommendations for concrete repair/maintenance?

Google the structural renovation works of:

- Alexander Newman
- Donald Friedman

Two good places to start for North american practice.
