Two DC PS units connected in parallel through blocking diodes. Two diodes or four diodes?
Thanks

Thanks Danw2
I always have been using this configuration but recently I found circuits with blocking diodes at positive and negative ends of each PS.
Do you know the reason? I think that depending upon the event of specific earth faults an overvoltage (2 times Vn) could be applied to the load. Is this a correct assumption?
