reducing hardness of 420 stainless steel. 1

Is there a way I can reduce hardness of 420 stainless steel in the form of 0.1mm thick and 12mm wide come in 16kg rolls.

Yes, Type 420 stainless steel can be annealed, or tempered at a higher temperature if this is spring steel strip. Do you have an idea of what hardness/strength/ductility your application will require?
