red asterisk in Out of Date column?

Are we talking about the 'Out-of-date' column in the Assembly Navigator, or somewhere else? And what version of NX are you running?

NX 7.5 <- I know, knew, that I was suppose to note the version so that you wouldn't have to ask.(oops)
And I was in the Assembly Navigator.
I kept on working throughout the day and now the red asterisk is gone. hmmm, I fixed it. How? What was it?
