Another approach, probably more useful for more complex animations, is to figure out how to control the on-screen position or orientation of the part with parameters; then export high-resolution screenshots as you change the parameter very slightly. Then you can use a video-editing software to compile the screenshots into a high-quality animation.
Looked into that too, downloaded several trial versions of screen capturing software. In the end I figured out turbodemo and camtasia are the higher quality solutions. Turbodemo can create smaller animations and still keep quality. I think camtasia is a little bit more user friendly.
