RECOMMENDATION FOR S S PIPELINE PROTECTION

Gentlemen,

We require to lay underground pipeline ( Stainless steel SA 358 TP304 L grade,12"NB Welded,10s thk,100 Metre length)at a depth of 1 to 1.5 Metre.The soil condition is little saline & the area is marine.Could you give your suggestions/recommendations for the suitable coating method such as 3 LPE or any cold coating tape for the external protection of pipeline.

Any good coating will do as temp better be ambient, and use sacrifical CP.

Agree with Ed that buried SS should be a last resort.
