recognise features greyed out

In a solidworks tutorial i need to add a relationship between two holes drilled in a plate


help page for adding relations explains that i should go to
insert>featureworks>recognise features

When I go there- the recognise features option is greyed out??

Can anyone please help??

What tutorial?
This doesn't sound right.
Are you trying to add sketch relations?
Or are you trying to recognize features for an imported base solid?
What version of SolidWorks?

To use FeatureWorks, you first have to activate the add-in. Tools->Add-ins and select FeatureWorks.
