Hi,
Is there a sample plan standard that is being used in the nuclear industry for receiving inspection?
Are nucs using sample plans for receiving inspection? If yes, what are they using?

How many parts, and who is supplying them?

Many are 100% inspected, because the quantity and frequency are so low.
Many parts are 100% inspected because it does not make sense to develop elaborate inspection plans and QA exception/acceptance plans for items that are only irregularly purchased in mass, or what can be purchased commercially in bulk quantity as non-safe items. (Electric connectors, for example, are much different than 2x pump seals needed for a pair of reactor water pumps.)

A corporate "attitude" and training and mental acceptance of 100% NDE inspection of welds and paperwork and training and security and documentation elsewhere, for example, does not lend itself to a statistical "well, that is good enough" inspection of many other things.

Thanks for your response. Some items are not a 1 of and are received in quantity. QL material is coming from qualified/approved suppliers.
 
EPRI NP-5652 is intended for commercial grade dedication, but can offer a baseline for bulk commodities.
