Hi -

Can someone recommend a good pci GPIB card, and preferably a source too ? What little digging I've done shows them to be ludicrously priced :(

This is to use LabView to interface to an HP oscilloscope with a GPIB interface.

Thanks -

Dean.

National Instruments is the standard to compare against. There are other brands, but caveat emptor. They may or may not work correctly with Labview. Capital Industries makes one which worked quite well with older versions of Labview, but not too well with recent versions.
None are cheap. All are way over-priced!

LABview is EXPENSIVE and slow ! <nbucska@pcperipherals.com>

nbucska :

Do you have any other recommendations instead of LabView ? I've used it before, it is very versatile and there is a *lot* of information and VI's out there for it.
