WE NEED TO PROVIDE REBARS IN RCC WITH EPOXY FILLING IN DRILLED HOLE . THIS IS BECAUSE OF SOME CHAGE IN DESIGN ADDITIONAL BARS ARE TO BE PROVIDEDIN EXITING STRUCTURE . DURING TESTING THE EPOXY FILLED REBARS GIVING ADEQUATE PULLOUT STRENGTH AND THE FAILURE IS ABOVE REBAR MATERIAL YIELD STRENGTH. BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT IT IS HAVING A SLIP OF 0.4 MM AT 60PERCENT OF YIELD STRENTH OF THE BAR. WHAT IS THE ACCEPTABLE VALUE FOR SLIP. IN AN RCC COLUMN REINFORCEMENT DOWELS SUCH SLIP IS ACCEPTABLE? WHAT IS THE ACI CODE POSITION FOR EPOXY FIXED REBAR DOWELS.

At least if you have test values you can limit the crack opening to some wanted value. You would simply use more rebar according to the law got from the readings in test to get a given slippage, or crack opening.

This would be a case where limit strength wouldn't be controlling the design, but crack opening or serviceability.
