Hello fellow engineers (and non engineers but in the same field)

Rebar detailing can be very complicated and a good construction, estimate and design depends on the right structural plans. Do you have any recommended manual for rebar detailing for starters?

Thank you very much

That depends on your country's concrete code. In Australia, we have a "Reinforcing Detailing Handbook" based on AS3600, issued by by the Concrete Institute of Australia.

ACI SP-66 is probably what you might use here in the USA.

IStructE's 'Standard Method of Detailing Structural Concrete' is pretty good if you're UK based.

Yep, the 3 listed documents are my go-to resources when it comes to detailing.

The Concrete Steel Reinforcing Institute (CRSI) publishes a "Ready Reference Reinforcing Steel Resource Guide". I find it very informative.
