Hello,

What information would one need (besides IP address, subnet etc) to read signals from a VFD over ethernet? I'm trying to provide some sort of addressing for some drive signals that I want to provide for a customer, I've looked through the Vacon ethernet/IP manual but can't quite make sense of it. Thanks in advance.

You must determine which data points/registers you want to read, because if you just try to read everything, you create a mess in trying to transmit data that you don't have any use for. Other than that, the configuration of your data "packet" is going to be specific to each brand of product, so Vacon will have to help you with that.
