Hi,

The dimension circled in red in the picture below, has been created using points:

Once I delete the points (I want to make the view linked to the 3D modeling file), the dimension became, of course, out-of-date.

How could I run the Re-route Dimension in a such way that would get the real value?
The top side of the dimension is given by the intersection of the two close edges.....

( at this time, the only option is to create a new dimension, but I was hoping I could learn something new)......[bigsmile]

Thanks.....

If you're asking how to change what that dimension is linked to, you can use the "Re-route Dimension" tool in the dimensioning toolbar. I don't have a suggestion if you're asking about how to attach the dimension to a virtual corner since I haven't found a good way to do that yet, hopefully someone else will. If you can get the results that you want with a new dimension, one option is to keep the old one, make the new one and use the format painter to modify the new dimension, then delete the old one.

Thanks, Stick.

I believe that there is no solution in this matter.
That's because the "Re-route Dimension" has strict two options of picking-up, one for each side of the dimension.
Thanks for cooperation.
