Ratcheting Assessment 1

hi.
im not sure how ratcheting assessment is done Based on ASME code.do we use a special material model like chaboche model for ratcheting? or is just Elastic Analysis and then post process?

The rules in ASME Section VIII, Division 2, 5.5.6 and 5.5.7 are very explicit on how to perform this type of analysis. What don't you understand about the rules?

Many of these answers are found in ASME PTB-1. It sounds to me like you need to take a training course on the subject.
