I am looking for a site with the correct Inductance Calculations & Dimensions for the calculations for Random wound air coils.
Do i use the same calculations as single layer spiral coils, there are many different inductance calculations for flat wound spiral, multilayer etc but i am unsure of the Random wound type?

Any help would be greatly apreciated.

If inductance is the only issue, all that matters will be the number of physical turns contained in the particular physical volume. In other words the ampere turns and flux linkages will be constant no matter how those turns are actually arranged within the space.

Voltage gradients and capacitance are an entirely different matter altogether, but that has nothing to do with the inductance.

If this is a dc solenoid it does not matter, scramble winding will be fine.

If it is a high voltage, or high frequency winding, it could matter rather a lot.

Thank You Warpspeed, your post is very helpful!

Thank You Again.
