I have a ramp in my model, but I cannot get it to distribute the loads to the supporting beams. It only distributes to the columns. For just a floor membrane element I can get it to transfer the loads properly to the beams but not for ramps. How can I accomplish this?

The reason is because you are not meshing it. If you have one ramp element spanning between columns, then it will only put loads to the end nodes, which here happen to coincide with the column location.

Mesh the ramp element in order to get the loads to the supporting beam. Make sure that you mesh it only perpendicular to the supporting beams and not parallel. It should be one element spanning between supporting beams.

I thought I was meshing it but I looked at it a little closer and as it turns out I wasn't. I since have been able to distribute the loads successfully. Thanks.
