Dear Fellow Members! What does AWS D1.1 says about radiography of Rectengular Butt joints in over head cranes? Thanks in advance.

Nothing, because D14.1 is the AWS document that covers industrial cranes/mill cranes/material handling equipment.

As it pertains to D1.1, there are no mandatory requirements for radiography of production welds unless stipulated in contract documents.
