I'm working in a drying of a material (flour) and i'm thinking to drying it by radiation. The idea is to heat a pipeline with tracing. Does anyone known if it is possible?<br>

It may be possible, but if it is a long line, you will probably get what is called pneumatic conveyance which will cause the line to plug up in layers, then you will have hard shale like deposits in the line you would have to periodically clean out. I think this happens because the humidity in the material accumulates in the pipe and then the material sticks to the pipe/moisture. I've seen it alot in lime silos and lines... let me know if it worked though.
