Why are both Supplementary and Nonessential marked for QW-409.4 & QW-410.9?
Questioning QW410.9:
If a .249"T PQR is welded with one layer of GTAW for the root and one layer of SMAW for the fill/reinforcement; will the WPS be qualified multipass or single pass?
IN other words, does QW-410.9 refer to total passes per side for combined processes (GTAW&SMAW being multiple passes) or passes per side for each individual processes?
