Is there a way to concatenate things (other cells; "text"; etc) in a formula, and force a wrap to next line at a particular point?

If I was simply entering text, I'd use [Alt][Enter] to do this, but in a formula, I can't find anything to do this.

I'm hoping someone knows of an extended ASCII character or something that will simulate a Carriage_Return/Line_Feed.

CHAR(10) is a line feed and forces a line feed when concatenated in between other text. For instance "abc"&CHAR(10)&"def" will wrap between c and d, but only if the cell is formatted to wrap text.

Many thanks jghrist... that's exactly what I needed.
