Hi,
I have received this part as .stp from the manufacturer. When I have it displayed such that edges show (eg: "shaded with edges", "hidden lines removed"... etc), they are BLUE!? How can I change them to BLACK? It is like this both in the .stp format and also when I save as .sldprt.

The edges are blue because you have a part that is made up of a bunch of unconnected surfaces. Select everything and try to knit them together. If you hold your tongue right everything should go black after forming a solid body.

The blue edges indicate that the surfaces are not knitted together and are not 'watertight'.
