I noticed that no matter how many times I regenerate or "Control-Q" or save my part, the "*" Asterisk symbol (Which I was told means the part hasn't updated) won't go away on my present configuration part. Does this mean I have to update all the configurations in my part to remove the "*" from the most upper left corner of my SolidWorks working window or am I missing something? Curious.

Ooops, I figured it out. I was in my mirror part that referenced another part and had a configuration in that part which needed to be updated. Once I went to the other incontext part and updated all the configurations, then went back to my mirror part and updated it, the asterisk went away. Hope someone learns something.

I thought the asterisk meant that the part had been changed since last save. Similar to the way CadKey99(ff?) did.

An asterisk (*) beside the document name in the title bar indicates that the document has changed since it was last saved.

Click Window, Close All to close all open documents. You are prompted to save any unsaved documents.
