We have to prepare for a small contract in Quebec - a small chemical plant.
We are preparing to buy CEC-Canadian Electrical Code with an amendment for Quebec. Is it enough for the electrical works in that province...? I am discussing about differences between Canadian and "Quebec Code" ?
Thanks.

I think Quebec is still in Canada.

I should probably not post since it may confuse the issue, but it should mention something in the contract.

I agree with you- Quebec is in Canada, but I was thinking that Electrical Code there is based also on IEC - european standard, but that is nor true ???

Some provinces rely entirely on the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) (e.g. New Brunswick, Nova Scotia)

Some provinces refer to the CEC, with a few additional rules or amendments (e.g. QUEBEC, Manitoba)

Ontario still has their 'Ontario Electrical Safety Code' (OESC) rather than the CEC, but there have been great strides in harmonizing the OESC with the CEC. Section numbers are the same, etc, but bits of the text and tables are still different.
