There is a good article in the April 2018 edition of "Structure" magazine on page 38 that I found interesting.

Link for those interested. That was an interesting read. We're currently trying to switch from having new hires just read the building code to actually developing tutorials and sample projects for them to do, among other things.
 

The problem at this point is: there is a whole generation of engineers (about in my age bracket) that were not mentored on the way up. It was all pure trial and error. As a consequence, a lot of people don't know [red]how[/red] to mentor.
