Dear ABAQUS friends, I have a question on “*RESTART” option and need your kind instructions and helps.
I ever used this command in version 5.8 to divide the simulation into many steps.
In the analysis, the tunnel excavation was simulated by removing soil elements using *MODEL CHANGE, REMOVE.
However, in current version, it seemed that the *MODEL CHANGE, REMOVE can not be used together with *RESTART
Does anybody have experience about this and I would appreciate if you can share the idea.
