Good Day,
My antenna pattern software records received power levels and corresponding angles and then “dumps” these into a text file in the following format:-
[Angle], [Received power]
[Angle], [Received power]
[Angle], [Received power]
….etc etc……
……..
Patterns are taken in a remote place and I cannot view a pattern until I get back to base –1 mile away. (the “pattern viewing” software is at base)
However, I would like to view the patterns on the laptop in the pattern testing location. –Unfortunately, I do not know how to paste the above (comma separated) numbers into separate columns of an excel document. –Therefore, I cannot use excel to view the patterns as excel graphs in the pattern testing location.
I would be very grateful if anyone knows how to paste this comma separated list into separate excel columns for the purpose of excel graph plotting. (I would like an excel column of angles next to an excel column of corresponding received powers.)
Any ideas would be most gratefully received.
