I've run into a problem in Pro/E Wildfire 4.0 that I can't seem to figure out. I'm making an assembly involving a shell part and then a head part which was modeled (top-down) from the assembly based on the shell outline. After putting in extensive work on the complex head part, I added a few holes to the shell part. For some reason, this changed the surface of the shell - combining two coplanar surfaces into one -- and apparently also changed the outline that the head was based on.

That change cascaded into a catastrophic failure for the head part, which now has all sorts of undefined points, datum planes, cuts, and so forth. I've managed to redefine most of them, but one particular protrusion cut is eluding me. It comes up as a "Cannot recreate internal datum" error. I redefined the sketch it was based off of, even tried replacing it with an identical internal sketch, but even then, although the preview of the protrusion indicates it should work, the feature won't create. I've tried everything I could think of; I really don't want to have to redefine every single feature (dozens of them) of the part that follow this one.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated...

I should note that the picture attached above is the preview of the attempted protrusion, but it fails if I try to proceed with creation.
