Hello,

Could someone explain to me how to numerically simulate the conductive contact via screwed connections on Abaqus?

Thanks for your feedback

You can use either tie constraint that will allow for perfect heat exchange between the surfaces or contact with gap conductance. Setting a small value of this parameter makes it harder for heat to flow through the interface. You could also set a very large value to make it work like tie constraint.

Gap conductance is here:

Create Interaction Property —> Contact —> Thermal —> Thermal Conductance

If you want to define tie constraint go to:

Create Constraint —> Tie

Ok thanks for your response

I have a last one question
I have to put a conduction on a solid with a temperature of 40°C on a surface of 50°C, how do I calculate the heat flux, which I will fill in on Abaqus?

thanks for your response
