I see aashto provides guidance on p-multipliers for a py lateral pile/drilled shaft analysis group effect. I am using LPile and have two questions regarding the application of this:
1. LPile allows for varying the p-multiplier based on depth below pile head; does anyone have guidance on how you should adjust the aashto p-mutlpliers based on depth?
2. I have situations where I am forced to use less then 3x diameter spacing; aashto does not cover this, does anyone have a reference for this situation?
