Hi All,

Found that "1 stage" or "2 stage" were marked for PWHT requirement on the datasheet. What does the number of stage mean?

Thanks in advance

Lacking any contextual information on materials and temperatures one can only guess that stage 1 stands for a stress relieving treatment to be performed immediately after welding to prevent cracking when cooling to room temperature, while stage 2 is performed later at leisure according to requirements to develop final properties.

Could be partial PWHT for vessel with local on closing seam. These are pure speculations. Anyway you have to get the fabricator or engineering to clarify.
