PVC Casing - large diameter/deep applications

I am looking for materials for a well that will be 24 inches in diameter and about 2800 feet deep. Is fuse welded PVC a reasonable option? Concerns with PVC are cementing issues (low collapse strength), ability to pass pressure test of 150 psi every 5 years, and longevity of the material in general (lifetime of well expected to be 40 - 50 years) I don't want to use steel due to scaling issues (disposing of treated wastewater). Would stainless steel help with scaling issue? I am also considering FRP, but there seem to be very few manufacturers of 24" diameter FRP with a threaded coupling that will withstand a 150 psi pressure test every 5 years. One last option is to go with steel casing and scrape it every 2 years at a cost of about $50,000 per event. Is this the right forum or is this better off posted on a petroleum engineering type of forum? Thanks for any help provided.
 
Scaling is more a function of what's in the water, rather than the material itself. My concern is what kind of wastewater are you disposing of? PVC will embrittle if exposed to some chemicals. Need more data.
