Does anyone have any published data on the bond strength of PVC pipe to concrete?

Can't think it would be very good. We use PVC pipe around tubing to protect the tubing from the concrete. After we are done - we use a jack hammer or manual sledge to remove the concrete. Comes off fairly easily esp if there is any residual "junk" on the PVC.

I wouldn't normally look to develop strength there, however, I am in a situation where we need to attach to the PVC for a minimal amount of load and I want to verify that I will not pull the PVC away from the concrete. We could possibly perform an in place test on the condition, but, I was hoping for a bond value to start with.

Can you "key" the PVC?/ Insert bolts, nails, screws, etc - just something to give you some "bite" and load transfer??
