I am trying to figure out what ASTM standard to reference for PVC SCH 80 blind flanges on a piping system for 3/4 to 6 inch pipe. I know D2464 is for threaded fittings and D2467 is for socket weld fittings. Since a blind flange isn't socket welded or threaded, i am not sure what standard to reference. Also, i was wondering if for PVC a flage is calssified as a fitting, because i know for CS they have standards for fittings and a seperate one for flanges. Is this the case for PVC?
