Hi,

I have a bunch of existing assemblies of which the datum planes of the various parts are not on a layer.

I know how to place a datum plane on a layer, but the problem is that there are so many datum planes in my assembliles and you have to manually click and select each and every one of them with the mouse.

Is there a way to speed up this process? By automatically selecting all datum planes or something?

Anybody got a suggestion?

Kind regards

Eddy

Hi,

That's what I was looking for!!

I tried it and it works great in single parts. When used in assemblies, it does not put the datum planes of the separate parts onto the layer of that part. You have to open the part itself and perform the action there.

But this will save me a lot of time already.

Thanks a lot for your help !!

Kind regards

Eddy
