I want to run a pushover analysis in which the local axes of shell elements change from step to step.

I know that it is impossible to run a single pushover analysis during which the local axes of shell elements change their angle. However, I would like to know your opinion regarding any other technique that can allow me to represent the previous step of a pushover analysis to a new model, with rotated local axes of shells.

Any opinion? I am familiar with OAPI.

Dear Brisidiii (Structural)(OP)
could you tell us why the local axes change in every step?

dear farzad1366, thanks for your post. the local axes of a shell don't normally change during a pushover analysis, but I want them to be rotating as a function of loading. do you have any idea?
